The stone is rolled--now empty is death’s cold, and sullen tomb
Lay conquered by the Victory, the Lamb of God, to Whom
All praise, all honor, glory and thanks be ever sung
To Him who rose victorious and death’s dread war has won.

 His Advent points to Christmas, preparing Jesus’ way.
Epiph’ny points to Jesus, transformed in bright array.
Good Friday points to Easter when Christ will then arise
The cross, the grave...then glory! Our Lord in Triumph rides.

Behold the Savior, risen, Behold the Savior lives!
Brings life to all forgiven, to all His grace He gives.
Behold the Savior, glorious, Behold Him, all arrayed
Behold your Lord, victorious, who all your sins has paid.
